Budd Van Lines’ first priority is your successful relocation. Sometimes that involves a claim for loss or damage. When this happens we work to provide the quickest, most equitable claim settlement possible.

Our goal is to have each relocation claim free and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Below are some key points to filing a claim. A full explanation of the process is included in the instructions accompanying our claim form.

Make sure you are present and thoroughly go through the inventory upon delivery. Note any missing or damaged items prior to signing.

Start the claim process as soon as possible. You have a time limit from the date of your delivery to file your claim for lost or damaged items in writing. You must notify Budd Van Lines of any residential property damage within 72 hours of it taking place and will have 30 days to file a written claim.

Please retain all items you are claiming and do not attempt to repair any items prior to them being inspected. Budd Van Lines will arrange to have your goods repaired or direct you to have them repaired.
