Six counties around San Francisco, CA, instituted a “Shelter in Place Order” requiring all individuals anywhere in those counties to stay at home — except for certain essential activities and work to provide essential business and government services or perform essential public infrastructure construction, including housing.
The order has exemptions for businesses providing essential services for the public and those supporting such essential services. In the case of the order, “shipping” is a service recognized as essential or supporting essential service.
We contacted local Police Departments in the Bay Area and they confirmed our services would be permitted to proceed.
