Our History
Dave Budd opened the company out of his garage with 2 trucks and a dream of becoming America’s best mover. Budd was an agent for Engle Van Lines.
Budd became an agent for United Van Lines and opened an office in Flanders, NJ.
Budd Van Lines was established as an independent national van line. We saw a better way to serve our customers than offered by a traditional van line agency system.
Opened our first West Coast Service Center.
Quadrupled the size of our company and moved our Headquarters to Somerset, NJ.
Opened our Southeast Regional Service Center
Opened our Southwest Sales Office in Austin
First time awarded the nation’s top carrier in the 2004 Relocation Program Managers Survey on the Household Goods Industry.
Opened our Mid-Atlantic Sales Office in DC.
