New Appliances and Furniture
All new appliances or furniture you have delivered prior to your move must be taken out of the box or wrapping by the delivery crew so you have a chance to claim damage with the furniture / appliance company.
If the company did not remove the packaging, the Budd Van Lines Driver team will do this, inspect the items and re-package them in either the original or Budd Van Lines packing materials.
Appliances that can not be setup to verify mechanical condition will be noted on the inventories “MCU” Mechanical Condition Unknown.
Budd Van Lines can not take responsibility for pre-packaged or non-verified mechanical conditions.
